IV Glutathione - Day 7

My last treatment. Upon the completion of this treatment, I purchased the Glutathione pills 60 days supply to maintain and then will take the IV every other month.

My pictures without photoshop. In different angles. Indoor lighting in natural light.

Overal Thoughts:
As I was getting the treatment done, I definitely feel healthier. There wasn't a "wow" result in skin whitening as I was expected. However, I did see some clarity and brightening effect on my skin. You will definitely see the "brightening" effect on your face, not so much of whitening. On my body, my arms seem to lightened a bit too! But you have to be careful of staying in the sun, even if you're driving in the car with sun light directly at your face and body. Cover yourself with long sleeves if you're planning to be out and about in the sun for more than 10 minutes. It can burn your skin and make it look pink or... Burnt! LoL.

Stay away from Burt's Bee Brightening products. I tried it on the night before and the next morning woke up with my face looking like "honey." I meant, if you're lookibg for a brightening effect from this product, it actually did the opposite. My face was sooo dark! Out of no where. I was terrified. I threw away the whole sample pack.

Bottom line, if you want to achieve youthful looking skin, IV Glutathione is the ideal. It not only brightened your skin but also provide a boost to your immune system. For skin whitening, I think it requires a maintenant process and over a period of time! Unlike bleaching products that you on your skin to whiten it, it only affects the surface of your skin but your body still produce a regular level of melanin. Glutathione, on the other hand will need time to blend into your melanin and body as a whole. Therefore, they said it is a "process" to maintain and whitened your skin inside out.

Lob Hairstyles

I've been seriously pondering on getting a lob. Not a bob, but a lob! A longer version of a bob. I think it makes women look younger and more active. These are some of my inspirations:

My idol: Jessica Alba with her polished soft curl lob.

And of course, when it is not styled all the way, thus making it looks effortless.

Rachel Adams with her fringe that frames her face so well. I mean soooo well! Making her look very chic, girlish, and youthful.

Lily Collins with her lob partly pulled to the back. Adorable!

When my lob grows out a little longer, I definitely want mine to look somewhat like this!

And of course, there is the lob with layers

You can even crimp your hair to create more volume and chic like Minh Hang too!

IV Glutathione - Day 6

Got my sixth one done today. Nothing speacial is going on. Right now it is the allergy season in Arizona, in which the weather could weirdly change from hot to cold one day and the next could be hot all day long. Around this time of the year my nose doesn't appreciate sneezing all day long, because of my sinus problem since I was little. By getting Vitamin C and Glutathione into my body more often, I can tell that it definitely help raising my immune system because of the abundant amount of antioxidant I have right now, therefore help fighting the cold/allergy. This part is disgusting so if you don't like anything about nose... I'd suggest move on to the paragraph! Around this time of the year, my sinus gets really bad, to the point that I would always end up blowing my nose all the day long during day time and at night it would get congested. What usually happened was that during the day Kleenex tissues are my bestie and at night Afrin decongestion spray is like my angel. I could not sleep when I couldn't breathe right!

However, this year I notice a slight change in my body; such as right now I don't have to depend on my Kleenex as much anymore, still sneezing a lot but compared to previous years... Still waaay less! Therefore my sinus doesn't get congested. Even the nurse said that the amount of vitamin C and glutathione I'm getting should help with my immune system fighting off the cold and allergy. I don't feel as tired as before.

Again, some non-photoshopped pics taken during this allergy misery.

IV Glutathione - Day 5

My fifth one was done today! The nurse said that she sees some changes in me but maybe it's not as noticable, because I'm already light skined. I am seeing some nice glow on my skin as a whole. I do see that my face and body seem to get lighter. However, I don't know if it's really noticeable since I haven't received any comments or compliments yet ever since I got my IV done.

Some pictures with no photoshops!

IV Glutathione - Day 4

Today is my fourth time getting the IV glutathione! I guess I have received quite a few compliments on how glowy and white my skin has looked in the past few days. Regardless, I still want to achieve the result as shown the picture in previous post.

Pictures: no photoshops were done! And of course, i had my baby with me too :-) All of these pics were taken without flash!

Indoor, darker lighting with no flash!

Black, Red, & Pearl

My previous post was all about Ao Dai, light makeup, super loose waves, and the softness as a whole. In this post, it is all about looking simple but sharp, thus elegant!

I chose a long black dress with cut out back. I originally got the dress at Winsor, but then I did some alterations on it, and of course, to add a little sexiness I did a side slit on the dress.

It is a night wedding event I went to. Since my look was light and dreamy in the morning, I decided to go bright at night. Never ever combine all the bright elements in your wardrobe together! If you really wanna go bright, choose from 1 to 2 elements of brightness as attention points and leave the rest in contrast colors. You want your highlights to stand out. This is key to simple but elegance!

Makeup:  Taupe and brown eyeshadow. Black cateye eyeliner. A little blush in coral topped with highlighter. My attention graber no. 1 would be bright red lipstick with a hint of orange in it.

Hair:  Lots of layers of curls and waves. I flipped my hair upside down and did an overall sea salt spray to keep my curls in shapes the whole night and to add volume. Then I pushed it to the side to show off my backless dress.

Outfit:  Black dress with cut-out back. Nude/gold heels. My attention grabbing element no. 2: pearl necklace and earrings. The way I wore my pearl neclace is a little different. I wore it at my neck line, leaving the rest hanging on my back because of my cutout back dress.

Traditional Vietnamse Áo Dài

My first time wearing the traditional Vietnamese Áo Dài. There are many styles and types of Ao Dai. The style that I'm wearing is called "áo dài cách tân," which means modern Ao Dai style. It is a little different from the traditional in the collar, the sleeves, and even the material. Mine is 100% handmade with blue turquoise lace. I chose short sleeves instead of long and still kept the same type of high collar. I wanted mine to give off the impression of a mix between modern and traditional.

In the olden days, women in Vietnam generally only wore Ao Dai once when they were in middle school, high school and college. Basically, the image of Ao Dai goes hands in hands with the image of the students and innocence. Because when you are a students and still in schools you don't have much to worry about. Your life would normally be school, home work, friends, and social life. Thus, the innocent and carefree image go with it very well.

Makeup:  Chose a soft pink eyeshadow, which has a little bit glitter in it, just to play with the light as a base. I also wanted to make my eyeliner and eyelashes pop out later on. Then I topped it up with a dark pink/burgundy/browny color on the outer corner to create the illusion of bigger eyes. A bit of ighlighter on my cheekbones and T-zone. Petal pink blush on the apple of the cheeks. Lips: Orange/coral lipstick color from Revlon topped with a little bit of YSL #204 light coral lipgloss to add shine.  This kind of makeup techniques go very well with day light or any event that is going to be outdoor. At the same time, it doesn't feel overwhelming in the eyes of others. I actually received quite a lot of compliments on this look!

Hair:  Crimped my hair underneath to make it look thick. Did soft layers on the top and at the end of the strands. Clipped one side up to show off my half crimped hair. Crimped hair gives off the youthful look!

IV Glutathione - Day 3

Just finished having my third treatment today! I have been taking twice every week so far. After this time, I'm gonna do it once a week until the seventh treatment is done!

I purchased a glutathione facial soap this time, since my cleanser is all out. I decided to give this a try. It is said to have Glutathione (skin whitening), Shea Butter (soften the skin), and Collagen (plump the skin and preventing wrinkles).

The nurse was there right away so I couldn't take any pictures. These were shots taken after the IV, in my car with natural lighting. There were shots where I intentionally leave part of my skin out in the sun light. As much as I wanted to and hating my zit right now, but I decided not to do any photoshops on any of these pictures. I wanted to give an honest review for my myself and my readers.

And I went home put on my other clothes, of course darker shade just to see the effect. Indoor, natural light.

My next one will be next week on Thursday July 10, 14.
